The 27/8/2013 respond of Mr. Jorgensen to PZKF letter of notification about what happened during the Extraordinary Meeting of 17/8/2013.
Re: ITKF reorganization - NEW ERA OF THE ITKF
Dear ITKF Members:
As Austria has already pointed out, the official Austrian Traditional Karate Federation does not support the current action of PZKT. Similarly, Mr. Mark Minarik of Canada, did not attend on behalf of the Canadian Traditional Karate Federation (CTKF). He is not the official representative. Furthermore, he is not even a Board member of the Canadian Federation and no one from the CTKF Board was informed he was attending. CTKF strongly opposes the behaviour and action of Poland and Mr. Kwiecinski.
Sincerely,
R. Jorgensen, President
Canadian Traditional Karate Federation
Mr. Mark Minarik's answer:
Re: ITKF reorganization - NEW ERA OF THE ITKF
28/8/2013
To Whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter to clear up any misunderstanding. Mr. Jorgensen is
correct in stating that I was not representing the CTKF at the meeting that
took place in Poland to form the New Era of the ITKF. He is also correct in
stating that I am not a board member of the CTKF however, I was previously a
board member of the CTKF and up until a week ago I was a member of the CTKF, at
which time I and a minimum of 60% of the membership resigned from the CTKF and
Mr. Jorgensen. Following our resignation, we then made application to the New
ITKF.
Attached, please find a copy of my letter and other members letters that
resigned from the CTKF.
Sincerely,
Mark J. Minarik
New Canadian Federation

Mr. Jorgensen's response:
Re: ITKF reorganization - NEW ERA OF THE ITKF
28/8/2013,
To
Whom it May Concern:
It is obvious that Mr, Minarik follow the same strategy of misinformation as his new found friends. Please look carefully at the letters he has provided as " evidence" of a large movement in Canada. In the first case only himself and Ms. Critch resigned from CTKF. Sylvain Aube has not been a member of CTKF for mor than two yeas - yet signed a "form letter" of resignation. The others resigned from the style organization of TJKACanada. His estimate of 60% is a gross representation at best.
It is sad when your student wishes to attack to destroy the very organization from which he gained so much benefit. I started the club Mr. Minarik now claims as his own. I also started the University of Regina Club and established a credit program as part of the University Faculty of Physical Education. This program was later destroyed by the individuals now in charge of the club I began. I fought in one of the dirtiest personal fights to allow Michelle Critch to stay within Sensei Nishiyama's ITKF when her region left to join WKF.
Once again the ride on the efforts of others, trying to steal the name of Sensei Nishiyama's ITKF and his name. There is NOT a new ITKF - there is only one legitimate ITKF - the one that exists.
So, it is disappointing to see this behaviour. But such is the case when people lose their way - falling victim to their own ego.
If they want a new organization, they should have the guts and will to create there own. If they are so unhappy - they should leave those of us who believe in the organization Sensei Nishiyama created alone. But they cannot as they know they are incapable of creating anything from scratch.
Sincerely,
R. Jorgensen, President
Canadian Traditional Karate Federation
